Technology Foresight

About the project

Technology Foresight is a research-driven editorial project promoted by the Politecnico di Milano, focused on exploring future scenarios at the intersection of technology, innovation, and sustainability. The initiative aims to bridge academic research with broader public discourse through a series of digital and print publications designed for both institutional and general audiences.

My role

I led the production of the Foresight series by managing a team of information designers responsible for transforming complex research into accessible, visually compelling narratives. My role included coordinating editorial planning, overseeing data storytelling, and ensuring visual consistency across all editions. I maintained a direct working relationship with researchers and faculty at the university, aligning the output with their scientific objectives while delivering on time and to the expected editorial quality.

Outcome

The collaboration resulted in the successful publication of four planned issues, both in digital and print formats, each addressing key themes related to the future of technology and sustainability. The project strengthened the university’s public engagement efforts and positioned Foresight as a high-quality platform for research communication. It also demonstrated our ability to deliver complex, data-driven editorial content through a structured and reliable workflow.
