GEDI Visual Lab – Data-Driven Branded Content

About the project
In partnership with GEDI Visual Lab—the visual and data journalism unit of GEDI Gruppo Editoriale—I led the development of a series of branded content long-forms for major clients in sectors such as energy, finance, and food. Each project combined visual storytelling, and interactive data to deliver editorial-quality content aligned with brand objectives. These pieces were published across GEDI’s national outlets, offering visibility to both the client and the media brand through high-quality storytelling.
My role
Over the course of this multi-year collaboration, I acted as project lead, managing a small and agile team composed of information designers and front-end developers. I served as the main interface with GEDI Visual Lab’s editorial team—particularly maintaining a consistent and productive relationship with the chief editor. My responsibilities included scoping project goals with editorial stakeholders, ensuring alignment on creative direction, and managing the production cycle from concept to delivery. We worked under tight editorial timelines while upholding high design and technical standards.
Outcome
This collaboration resulted in the successful publication of numerous branded long-form features, each balancing editorial depth with commercial effectiveness. The sustained partnership demonstrated our ability to deliver under pressure, meeting fixed publication deadlines without compromising on quality. The work supported GEDI’s positioning in the branded content space as a provider of data-rich, visually engaging editorial formats—helping clients communicate complex narratives through a data-rich lens.
