A new "Corsera" homepage
About the project
This project is an independent, speculative redesign of the homepage of Corriere della Sera, one of Italy’s leading newspapers. The concept explores how a modern news platform might better serve both quick updates and in-depth analysis through thoughtful layout, hierarchy, and accessibility across devices.
My role
As a personal design exercise, I created a full set of high-fidelity screens for mobile, tablet, and desktop, published openly on the Figma Community. The design includes both light and dark themes, focusing on clarity, modularity, and editorial readability. A key objective was to explore how digital news interfaces can give more prominence to long-form content and evolving news stories without overwhelming the user.
Outcome
The project resulted in a publicly available design concept with the aim to spark interest for its emphasis on updates/content depth ratio modulation. While a naïve attempt in some respects, the project served as a valuable exploration of editorial UX, responsive layout systems, and user-centric hierarchy in news media design.
